One Retired Stoner on Crete - first part!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog! I came home from Crete yesterday evening after one week of vacation. So the plan was to actually be away for 1,5 up to 3 weeks but for a few reasons I decided to end my vacation a bit earlier... and that was not because I didn't like it. I had high expectations on Crete and the we're lived up to. So don't get me wrong please... this island (Chania area, I was in) is so amazing. So nope, totally feel in love with this place for sure despite ''only'' on week here..

Hej alla fina läsare och välkomna tillbaka hit till min blogg! Jag kom hem från Kreta igår kväll efter en veckas semester. Tanken var egentligen att vara iväg i 1,5 till 3 veckors tid men på grund utav några olika anledningar bestämde jag mig för att avsluta. semestern tidigare. Så söndag till söndag blev det. Och det var inte så att jag inte gillade Kreta, så missförstå mig rätt. Jag hade höga förväntningar och de levde denna vackra, fina och alldeles, alldeles underbara ö upp till...

Starting up with sharing a picture from the airport in Chania... this is from the home flight Sunday noon. I felt like I really wanted to document to while trip, so even the traveling back to first Copenhagen Airport and then my home town, which is Karlshamn in the South East Sweden. Since I really wanted an overview over the whole for me personally and for you guys! Since I documented the trip from start it also felt important to share the end of it... :)

Från flygplatsen in Chania! Detta är från dagen jag åkte hem, söndag förmiddag. Jag kände att jag verkligen ville dokumentera hela resan... kul och värdefullt och viktigt för mig personligen att ha, men också för att mitt intresse att dela med mig av detta till er var väldigt stort. Kände att eftersom jag ju dokumenterat resan från start så ville jag ju även få med hur den slutar.

I went off the train in 19:20 Sunday evening and I've really been enjoying being home so far. But what an amazing trip. I can really recommend everyone trying solo traveling at least once. I've been asked a lot of questions about my trip, how it is to travel solo and yeah...

Weather? Amazing... was blessed with the best weather I could wish for...

Been enjoying some really good tzatziki and gyros with fries ofc! Yum,,, one week was NOT enough to get tired of Greek food... can still feel the craving after som nice gyros. As it's served in Greece or as it's usually delivered in Sweden!? I'm up for both... gyros is for sure still on the craving list.

En vecka har inte varit tillräckligt för att få mig trött på grekisk mat, kan fortfarande känna suget efter gyros at the moment haha... grekisk eller så som den brukar serveras i Sverige!? Alcohol time... had ''a bit'' of it to be honest down on vacay... I really treated myself with some good drinks, tried a cider (sadly not good though, can't recommend) and some lovely wine. Greek wine is great... can really recommend it.

Oh my god.. I sound like such an alcoholic... this is not my ordinary drinking habits, I promise... I'm usually just a girl with a big love for wine and sometimes a cider. I was on a long break from vodka ond other alcohol with a higher percent haha... but this is also my. first vacay in two whole years so.

Was an amazing feeling being back. Two years ago I had my first performance outside Sweden here... took some extra time due to bus ride a part of the trip and then get on a new train from Lund to Copenhagen Airport... we had to change to bus from Hässleholm to Lund because of rail work... :(

Well, still there hours before flight takes off. I am very easily stressed out and not a time optimist at all so arriving around 01:30 felt like the perfect time for me hehehe... but of course I know you can arrive like 2 hours later or maybe even a bit more and yet be able to make it to your flight.

Sat back and enjoyed the ride?

Ah, no... Danish boy kicked me in my back the whole time, literally sadly. Yep, this gyal had a 6-7 year old kid with a mom that didn't stopped him.

Well, well, I think that's pretty much everything for part ONE... of how many? Probably like a bunch I feel. Still have so much more till tell you guys. Plenty of more updates from my trip.
